hey y'all! thanks for reading WCH chapter 4. I've been making Nanami comics on a daily/weekly basis for 4 years now, and going into 2026 I'd like to try doing something different.

nanami will return, so don't worry! i'll be posting my doodle dumps here every saturday, so you shouldn't miss me too much either. i just wanna work on something different for a change, and whatever that is, i hope you like it too.

i know a ton of y'all have been asking me to do this for years so I finally got around to figuring that out!

now you can enjoy all of my number 1 jams in glorious rhythm game format! if you make a level with my song, please send me a video! i'd love to see it!

hey gang! thanks for reading WCH chapter 3! the next chapter starts August 27th, so keep an eye out for it when it drops!

with that being said, i also wanna announce a big change to the schedule:

for the first time in 4 years, the comic will no longer be updated daily, instead every Mon/Wed/Fri!

i don’t talk about it much, but at the very beginning, my daily comics weren’t even comics! after a serious struggle with depression, i rediscovered my love of art and promised myself i would draw every day, so that there would always be something to look forward to when i wake up

those drawings turned into characters, and then into one-panel comics, then four-panel comics, and finally to where it is today. though the workload has steadily increased, the timeframe has always stayed the same. and i started doing daily drawings on top of that, too!

recently, i looked again at the promise i made myself: “I will make 1 drawing every day for my mental health.” it was never about making the comic every day, but just making *something* every day, and even without the comic, i’m still doing that!

WCH is so deeply rooted in my heart, and if i’m only giving myself a day to make each page, i’m not giving it the most care i could be giving it. so, simply put, i’m giving myself that time to make it the best it can be. you’ll still see my daily drawings, but now i have 2 days to work on each page!

this will be healthier not just for me, but will also make the comic better as a result. if this is something i deeply care about, it deserves to have that care put into it. (it should also feel a lot less punishing if you miss a day, too!)

i’m really excited about the future of the comic, and i hope you are too! once again, thank you so much, sincerely. making this comic helped me heal my heart, and i can never express enough gratitude to all of you for your support. <3

going to be busy today so no comic until tomorrow ^^
